Please note that participants must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 to attend our LIVE (in person) classes at this time. Otherwise, we invite you to choose from our ZOOM (online) classes.

Another Birth Refresher Seminar - A rewarding four hour seminar specially designed for second (or third) time parents, including everything from birth to breastfeeding. Discover ways to reduce sibling rivalry, to help your youngsters cope with the changing family, and to connect with your new baby while maintaining your bond with the first.

Evidence Based Birth Seminars - We are so excited to offer continuing education for birth professionals (nurses, midwives, doulas, and doctors) as well as Evidence Based Birth workshops for expectant parents.

The Truth About Pregnancy Class (add on to evening series or weekend workshop for only $20) - A one night, myth-busting class for pregnant people exploring aspects of pregnancy such as nutrition, exercise, risks, lifestyle changes, and common myths. Participants share experiences, tips, and questions in this social and fun evening. You will learn things that you have not seen on the internet!

Scheduled Cesarean Workshop - Will you be giving birth by scheduled caesarean? Are you looking for a prenatal class, but want to keep the labour/breathing content to a minimum? Our scheduled caesarean workshop will give you the opportunity to attend a prenatal class, meet other new families, learn about newborns, and build community, without having to spend as much time on topics you already know you won’t need.

Home Birth Seminar - Are you considering a home birth? Whether you’re planning one yourself, interested on behalf of a friend or family member, or merely curious about why anyone would do such a thing, this 3-hour seminar is for you!

Multiples Prenatal Seminar - More than one baby? Don’t worry! This 2-hour seminar is an add-on to regular prenatal classes, specially designed for people expecting twins, triplets, or more!

Crash Course for Dads- For new and expecting dads to talk about all the stuff dads need to talk about but are usually afraid to ask.

Private Prenatal Classes - We also offer private instruction with the same content as the Evening series and Weekend workshops. Contact us for information.

Breastfeeding / Chestfeeding

Breastfeeding Class - This eye-opening two hour breast/chestfeeding class is included with our Evenings Series or Weekend Workshop, but can also be taken on its own. Our breast/chestfeeding classes are renowned for our trend-setting approach to human lactation. The information we provide is as useful as it is fascinating. Dodge breastfeeding challenges before they even start. Learn a new twist on breast/chestfeeding basics, problems & solutions, and where to seek help. You won’t believe how interesting this topic can be!

Refund Policy for all Childbearing Society Classes

If you have to cancel your registration for a medical reason (such as baby arriving early), or in the rare event that we have to cancel a class, we will offer a 100% refund.

For all other situations, we will refund your full payment less a $50 administrative fee. Forty-eight hours’ notice is required.

If you need to switch to another one of our classes for scheduling reasons, we will do our best to accommodate you. There is no additional charge.
